Hi there! My name's Gabriel Sus (yes, really, that is my last name), and I'm a creative writer who focuses mainly on upmarket writing. I enjoy taking on projects that are unique—I find questions that interest me, and then I build stories around them. My work is varied, and I enjoy trying my hand at new things. Currently, I'm working on several projects in various stages of development—among them a novel, a television series, and a film script. I also write a short story or poem now and then.
As you can see, I enjoy a lot of different mediums. There is, however, a lens that I look at each project through. Nearly everything I write has some sort of subtext to it, a deeper message, if you will. Sometimes I make it easy to find... sometimes not so much. I believe that a close reading can reap rewards beyond just finishing the story. Hopefully, when you interact with my work, you'll come away with something positive.
I like tackling projects that are complex, and ask important questions about identity, behavior, and what it means to be human.
To that end, my work brings a unique cast of characters that reflects the human experiences. They come from around the world, of different ages and races, and have experienced different things that shape them. They are a varied lot—soldiers, ballerinas, scammers, businessmen, and deep-cover agents—just to name a few. As you can see, originality and realismare really important to me.

What's next?
That's a fair question, and I'll answer that as best I can. I like to move fast, and, as I said, I often have multiple projects going on simultaneously. In many ways, what I debut next depends on what I finish and when. I often have some minor projects filling in the gaps as well. Honestly, I'm really excited to get some of my work out there, so stay tuned!
